MR7 holds seminar on national defense strategy

The event was co-held by the Central Theory Council and the Party Committee of Military Region 7 (MR7).

Over the past time, MR7 has effectively implemented many projects and creative models to achieve the goals set out in the resolution of the eighth session of the 11th Party Central Committee on the national defense strategy in the new situation.

In particular, MR7 has built houses and other facilities in residential areas near border militia checkpoints, formed core political forces in export processing zones and industrial parks, and wholeheartedly helped ethnic groups and religious followers, among others.

During the seminar, delegates highly valued the scientific, theoretical and practical nature of the projects and creative models carried out by MR7 Command over the past time. Through proposals discussed at the seminar, the organizing panel clarified many new theoretical and practical issues on national protection in the new situation posed in the building the armed forces, a strong all-people's defense disposition, a posture of people’s hearts, and defensive areas, to name but a few.
