The Minister also informed former leaders about outstanding results in military-defense task performance of the whole military in 2025. He emphasized the successful parade in grand national celebrations to mark the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, and participation in the parade in Russia to mark the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, leaving a positive impression on local residents and international friends. Notably, in the year, as natural disasters occurred continuously and severely, exceeding historical levels and causing heavy losses of life and property in many localities, the military has continued to be a firm fulcrum, supporting locals in response and recovery efforts, further enhancing the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the current situation.

Minister Giang wished the former leaders and their families good health and happiness. He hoped that they would keep paying attention to, following developments and contributing valuable and dedicated opinions to building an increasingly strong military capable of excellently fulfilling all assignments by the Party, State and people.
