The event was attended by Second-in-Command of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command Major General Pham Van Ram, Secretary of Thu Duc City Party Committee Nguyen Huu Hiep, and Vice Chairman of Thu Duc city People’s Committee Nguyen Ky Phung.

The defense festival aims to evaluate the outcomes of the training and combat readiness mission and physical training of troops, militiamen, and armed forces in the city, thereby reviewing leadership work so as to better implement training work, meeting all task requirements in the current context.

This year’s program consists of many contents, including AK shooting, military swimming, martial arts, grenade throwing, and strong soldiers, among others.

The opening ceremony of the festival has left deep impression on participants, with the attendance of militiamen, air defense and naval forces, public security force, war veterans, and youths.
