According to Lam Thanh Ha, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Son commune (Tam Dao district), recruitment efforts must be meticulously handled at the grassroots level. Authorities have ensured fairness and transparency in the selection process, with thorough examinations at the commune and district levels. Youths meeting the criteria are enthusiastic about joining the military, with many even volunteering.
Lam The Ngoc, a resident of Ho Son commune, shared, "After graduating from the Vinh Phuc Vocational College, I had a stable job at the Khai Quang Industrial Park (in Vinh Yen City) with a monthly income of VND 13 million. When I learned that I met the criteria for military service after the medical examination, I was excited about the opportunity to train in the military environment and contribute to protecting the Fatherland. My family, friends, and employer have all been supportive, with my company promising to rehire me upon completing my military service."
Nguyen Thanh Do, Secretary of the Tam Dao district Youth Union, highlighted the effectiveness of diverse communication and mobilization efforts in recent years, including broadcast announcements, banners, and social media campaigns to raise awareness about military service laws and benefits. The district’s Youth Union chapter also supports outstanding young individuals by introducing them to training courses about the Party and assisting them with preparations for enlistment. Cultural and artistic events are also planned to celebrate the enlistment ceremony for 2025.
Lieutenant Colonel Pham Minh Dang, Commanding Officer of the Tam Dao district Military Command, emphasized that the entire political system, from the district to grassroots levels, has been actively involved in ensuring a rigorous and efficient recruitment process. During the Tet (lunar New Year) holiday, the district's Military Service Council distributed gifts to motivate enlistees and made thorough preparations for the upcoming enlistment ceremony.
