During the inspection, the delegation was briefed on the preparations for receiving recruits and training plans this year. They also conducted direct inspections of training materials, models, and equipment; the quality of training grounds and facilities; the results of training sessions for officers in charge of training recruits; lesson plans, training schedules, and documents; as well as logistics provision for training and production activities.

The delegation assessed that the units adequately prepared training materials, equipment, and documents in accordance with regulations. Training grounds for infantry combat techniques and combined-arms tactics were reinforced to meet training requirements.

Additionally, dining and kitchen facilities were upgraded, production activities were expanded, and medical preparations, including health screenings, vaccinations against meningococcal disease, and disinfection measures, were completed to ensure the well-being of new recruits.

In his concluding speech, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hong Thai highly valued the units’ preparations for these tasks. He instructed them to further strictly implement military and defense orders and directives, maintain combat readiness at all levels; refine weekly and monthly training plans, lesson plans, and progress reports, ensuring that training materials are thoroughly reviewed and officers receive proper guidance.

At the same time, the units should enhance research and innovation to improve training methods, repair and upgrade training facilities, and ensure adequate training conditions for all personnel; stabilize unit organization, equipment, and logistics to support both training and combat readiness missions; and ensure proper reception and integration of new recruits from localities while organizing a formal ceremony to start the new training season to boost morale and foster an atmosphere of emulation from the very first days of training.
