Accordingly, the units have strictly implemented resolutions and directives of defense leaders on combat readiness mission during Tet, and actively built plans to be ready for any circumstances.

On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, General Cuong hailed the troops’ achievements over the past time.
He also requested leaders at all levels to direct the units to grasp situations at sea, so as to firmly protect national sovereignty over sea and islands.
General Cuong instructed the units to strictly maintain military discipline, master weapons and equipment, boost training quality, ensure absolute safety in all aspects, and be ready to support fishermen at sea.

He also directed the units’ leaders to encourage troops, organize activities for troops during Tet, while taking care of policy beneficiary households.
Highlighting that there are many significant activities and events held in 2025, especially the organization of Party congresses at all levels, General Cuong requested the units to make thorough preparation to ensure the success of Party congresses at all levels.

The GDP deputy chief also asked the troops to implement training directives of the defense minister, particularly regarding combat readiness during the lunar New Year 2025, focusing on enhancing training work, mastering weapons and equipment to address any arising issues at sea.
Meanwhile, they should well implement mass mobilization work to encourage fishermen to strictly observe all guidelines and policies of the Party and State’s laws, regulations of the government on fishing at sea and protecting environment, while boosting military-fishermen ties.

Troops and islanders thanked the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense for taking care of them, highlighting that the Tet gifts would motivate them to fulfill all assigned tasks.
As the lunar New Year 2025 is just around the corner, on behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, General Nguyen Tan Cuong and Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung sent Tet greetings to them.
