Via practical activities, delegates recalled the building and development cause of the Vietnam People’s Army. They also toured troops’ ship and were equipped with information about the building and development of the Vietnam People’s Army.

Presenting gifts to needy students who are soldiers’ children

On the occasion, the Vietnam Publishers Association presented 500 books to the region’s library and 500 desk calendars; while the Youth Social Work Center handed over 50 books to the region. Sponsors also granted 20 scholarships to needy students who are soldiers’ children, worth totally more than VND 40 million.

The program aimed to introduce publications highlighting the beautiful image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, contributing to promoting reading culture in the community as well as in military units, thereby enhancing the military-civilian solidarity, and marking the 80th foundation anniversary of Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 - 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the Whole-People’s Defense Festive Day (December 22, 1989 - 2024).
