At a meeting with the Military Broadcasting Center, the Defense Minister highly valued achievements of the unit’s leadership, reporters, and employees over the past year. He emphasized that the center’s programs have considerably raised the understanding of the whole people about tradition, missions and task accomplishment of the army.

General Lich asked them to effectively exploit new facilities, and continue improving its staff’s competencies for further bettering its products.

Meanwhile, General Lich expressed pleasure at the operation of over 16,000 affiliated organizations with nearly 3 million members nationwide under the Vietnam Veterans’ Association.

In 2017, veterans’ organizations at all levels well joined hands to maintain social order, becoming a mainstay for local authorities and people.

General Lich wished the association’s members a happy Lunar New Year and asked them to continue their solidarity with troops in the whole army to successfully fulfill all assigned tasks.

On the same day, General Lich visited Brigade 205. He was accompanied by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Phuong Nam, Vice-Chief-of-the-General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, and representatives of the functional bodies of the Ministry of National Defense.

The General requested the brigade’s troops to continuously ensure smooth communications in any circumstances for leaders of the Party and State in the coming time.
