General Department of Politics’ delegation visit military units
PANO – A delegation led by Lieutenant General Do Can, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, visited Air Defense Brigade 77 (Military Region 7) and Air Defense Brigade 71 (Army Corps 4) on January 19.

Having been briefed on the units’ task performances in 2016 and key missions this year, General Can hailed their good results in fulfilling all assigned missions and asked them to strictly maintain combat readiness posture and training tasks to ensure a happy and safe Lunar New Year (Tet) festival for their troops. In addition, he instructed the units to closely coordinate with localities to help policy beneficiaries and needy households.
The same day, General Can also visited and extended Tet greetings to Southern units under the General Department of Politics. During the visit, he acknowledged the units’ remarkable achievements in overcoming difficulties and challenges last year and asked them to continue maintaining combat readiness for the upcoming Tet festival.

Having been briefed on the units’ task performances in 2016 and their preparations for the Lunar New Year 2017, General Van lauded the units for their achievements in protecting the national sovereignty and production.
The general also asked the units to strictly observe all instructions and directives of the ministry, pay attention to raising the quality of training and the implementation of combat readiness to promptly handle any circumstances as well as to ensure a safe and happy Tet holiday.
