After inspecting the unit's preparation work for the new-year training, General Giang was briefed on the capital command's task performance over the past year. Accordingly, the command’s subordinate units have seriously grasped and undertaken higher levels' instructions and resolutions while maintaining troops strength for combat readiness and other missions.
For his part, General Giang acknowledged and praised efforts of the command's troops, and at the same time asked them to continue improving training quality to be ready and active for any circumstances, practicing military exercises, tactics and skills in line with real situations, upholding regulations and disciplines, and maintaining high combat readiness.
For the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) Festival, the general urged all units to maintain high combat readiness posture to be ready to deal with unexpected issues while asking relevant agencies to ensure an adequate and happy Tet holiday for troops.
Previously, General Giang and the delegation of the Ministry of National Defense visited the Bac Ninh provincial Military Command.
Having been briefed on the unit's task performance last year, General Giang applauded the provincial armed forces' outstanding achievements over the past time and urged them to uphold revolutionary vigilance to deal with any situations. On the occasion of upcoming Tet holiday, the general presented gifts and extended New-Year greetings to all troops, hoping that they would continue bringing into play their revolutionary traditions, building strong Party organizations and a comprehensively strong armed force, contributing to fulfilling all assigned missions.
At a meeting with the provincial leaders, the general expressed his delight at the local socio-economic development, especially in the industrialization and modernization cause. He hoped that the provincial leaders would continue attaching much importance to military and defense affairs, combining between economic development and defense and security reinforcement. He noted that the province should build a strong militia force, especially in foreign-funded industrial parks, contributing to maintaining stability in the locality.
On this occasion, the general visited and offered Tet gifts to doctors and medical workers of Military Hospital 110 of the Department of Logistics under Military Region 1.
