Last year, the GDP’s Organs thoroughly grasped resolutions and instructions of higher levels, well made recommendations to and directed the Party and political work in the whole military, and further raised troops’ political stance and combat readiness.
At the same time, the GDP’s Organs paid due attention to mass mobilization work, particularly in promoting civil-military relations.

Gen. Cuong applauded task performance of the GDP’s Organs in 2023, adding that 2024 will witness a number of major events of the country, military and GDP as well. Thus, the GDP’s Organs should attach much importance to rolling out all resolutions and plans of higher levels.
He asked the GDP’s Organs to continue to enhance quality of Party and political work in line with heightening the GDP’s prestige; build strong, healthy Party organizations, and comprehensively-strong, typical and exemplary units. Moreover, they should maintain internal solidarity, actively grasp situations in localities where they are stationed, promptly address arising issues in any circumstances.

Gen. Cuong also requested the GDP’s Organs to further lift troops’ political stance and competence, uphold the sense of responsibility to set good examples, wholeheartedly support their comrades in need, and ensure logistics, technical and financial work for frequent and irregular missions.
At the event, Gen. Cuong and other leaders of the GDP handed over emulation flags to collectives and individuals with outstanding records in task implementation in 2023.
