GDP chief chairs conference with GDP’s Board of Directors

Over the past time, the People’s Army Cinema has heightened responsibility, pro-actively developed scripts, exploited and synthesized documents, and supplemented contents to complete the film in an effective manner and on schedule. The film features remarkable achievements and milestones of the GDP during the 80 years of building, combat and development, affirming the Party's direct and absolute leadership in all aspects over the military.

In his remarks, Sr. Lt. Gen. Trinh Van Quyet acknowledged the efforts of People’s Army Cinema in making the film. He underlined that there is not much time left, the unit should continue to promote a sense of responsibility and take into account the opinions of the delegates to make timely edits so that the film could be released as planned.

The unit should review the content of the film, highlighting the position and role of the GDP in the 80-year journey accompanying the growth of the military and the country, with achievements in such important tasks as giving advice to higher levels to ensure the absolute leadership of the Party over the military; results of the Party building in the military; results of the task of building firm political stance for officers and soldiers; building military-civilian solidarity and achievements in leadership and direction of international duties, and more, contributing to effectively disseminating the tradition of patriotism, upholding revolutionary heroism, and arousing national pride among people.

On the same day, the GDP chief chaired a meeting of the GDP’s Board of Directors to roll out key tasks in November and check preparations in celebration of the 80th foundation day of the Vietnam People’s Army, the 35th anniversary of the Whole-people's Defense Festive Day, and the 80th foundation day of the GDP.
