PANO - On August 29, Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, chaired a conference of the GDP Board of Directors to review the implementation of the Party and political work in August and roll out September’s missions.

During the event, GDP leaders agreed on draft reports delivered at the event, and requested the GDP’s Office to finalize documents for the conference to review August’s task performance and map out missions for September.

Concluding the conference, Gen. Quyet underscored that in August, units in the whole military effectively fulfilled all assigned Party and political tasks.

Regarding tasks in September, the GDP Chief asked the units to work closely to implement Party and political work, focusing on training and combat readiness missions, ensuring discipline observance, and conducting natural disaster prevention and control and search and rescue missions, among others.

Meanwhile, they should comprehensively and effectively organize activities in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army and the 35th anniversary of the Whole-People’s Defense Festive Day, and the 80th founding anniversary of the GDP with good quality.
