Department of Organizations receives first-class Independence Order
PANO – The Department of Organizations under the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army held a ceremony on July 9 to review its missions from the first half of 2021 and receive the first-class Independence Order.
At the event, Sen. Lt. Gen. Do Can, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, pinned the noble order onto the unit’s determined-to-win flag and handed over the certificate of the first-class Independence Order to its leadership. The award is the Party’s, State’s and Ministry of National Defense’s recognition of the contributions and special achievements of the unit in building the people’s army, cementing the all-people defense posture, and safeguarding the Party’s ideological position in the current context.

In the first half of 2021, the department embraced the resolutions and directions of higher levels to accomplish its assigned tasks.
Speaking at the event, General Can required the unit to accelerate research and propose appropriate approaches to build strong Party organizations in the military.
He noted that the department should pay more attention to improving its personnel’s capabilities for and build a group of elite and professional staff.
