At the event

Over the past 75 years, the academy has launched over 450 training courses for more than 50,000 cadres and staff officers and graduated thousands of masters of arts and doctors of philosophy for Vietnamese and foreign militaries.

The academy has always promoted its motto of “Be Steadfast, United, Unanimous, and Actively Creative; Overcome Difficulties; Complete Assignments” to become a prestigious education, training and scientific research center of the military.

In his speech, General Tien congratulated the academy on its glorious tradition and outstanding achievements since its establishment.

He also asked the academy to continue bringing into full play its heroic tradition, implementing resolutions and directives issued by the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on military-defense tasks, especially military education, training and scientific studies.

On behalf of the State President, Gen. Tien handed over the First-class Fatherland Protection Order to the Army Academy.
