Defense mission visits Armored Corps
PANO – A mission of the Ministry of National Defense, led by its Deputy Minister Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, visited and worked with the Armored Corps on April 9.
At the working session, the corps’ Commander Major General Do Dinh Thanh briefed the mission on the unit’s organization and tasks, as well as conditions of tank and armored vehicles and equipment, and its task implementation last year and the first quarter of this year.
Particularly, over the past time, the Armored Corps has thoroughly embraced and strictly carried out higher levels’ resolutions and directives, while its troops have demonstrated their determination to undertake and fulfil all assigned missions.
In addition, the corps has successfully implemented technical work to serve training and combat readiness missions and other important missions of the nation, including the 13th National Party Congress. The force has been making preparations for a festival for tank and armored units in the whole military this year and ensuring adequate facilities for troops to train for the 2021 International Army Games (2021 Army Games).
Praising the Armored Corps’ achievements over the past time, General Vinh requested the corps to strictly carry out combat readiness missions, accelerate research in military science, hold competitions for tank and armored units, prepare for the 2021 Army Games, and effectively carry out technical work.
