Delegates and wounded and sick soldiers at Nho Quan Convalescent Center

Nho Quan Convalescent Center currently cares for 105 national contributors and policy beneficiaries, including 57 wounded and sick soldiers, and three exposed to toxic chemicals, among others. Over the past time, the center’s medical staff have wholeheartedly treated and cared for the national contributors and policy beneficiaries, significantly improving their material and spiritual life.

On behalf of the Government, the Central Military Commission, and the Defense Ministry, General Phan Van Giang inquired after the wounded and sick soldiers, expressing deep gratitude for the immense sacrifices of the previous generations for the nation’s independence and freedom.

The general expressed deep emotion upon seeing the veterans, who, despite their severe injuries and daily hardships, continue to maintain their optimism and the steadfast will of Uncle Ho’s soldiers. He wished the veterans good health and happiness, noting that they serve as shining examples for the younger generation to follow.

General Phan Van Giang affirmed that the Party, State, military, and the entire society have always prioritized the fine tradition of gratitude. Looking toward the 80th anniversary of Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day, the Defense Ministry is decisively rolling out the “500-day campaign to accelerate the search, collection, and identification of martyrs’ remains” nationwide. He highlighted that this effort demonstrates both responsibility and the deep gratitude of the whole military toward the forefathers.

The general also highly valued the care of the Party committee and local authorities of Ninh Binh province, as well as the dedication of the provincial Convalescent Center for national contributors. 

On this occasion, General Phan Van Giang presented gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Defense Ministry to the wounded and sick soldiers and the center.
