Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien speaks at the inspection.

Recently, the academy has executed these projects in compliance with regulations, ensuring the procurement of synchronized and modern equipment. So far, these projects have significantly addressed the shortage of practical training facilities, shifting the focus from theory-heavy instruction to hands-on training using modern technological processes. Consequently, the school has added numerous programs, modules, and practical experiments for various majors.

Following the on-site inspection, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien highly valued the academy’s proactive implementation of the projects. He requested the school to enhance post-investment management by establishing utilization plans, operation and maintenance procedures, and performance evaluation criteria. He also urged the school to share research results obtained from these laboratories to units in the whole military.

The general emphasized that the laboratories must serve as research foundations. Therefore, he noted that the academy needs to align laboratory operations with training programs, scientific tasks, and specific orders from military units. He also highlighted the importance of building a core team of experts and pro-actively managing consumables, maintenance, and equipment upgrades for the facilities.

Additionally, the deputy minister requested the academy to coordinate closely with the ministry’s functional agencies to promptly finalize the defense ministry-level acceptance for completed projects, conclude financial settlements for finished ones, and strictly manage the progress of the on-going projects.
