Expressing his delight at the increasingly deep, substantive, and comprehensive development of relations between the two Parties and the two countries, Gen. Cuong reaffirmed that Vietnam consistently attaches great importance to strengthening and developing its friendly neighborly relations and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with the Party, Government, people, and military of China.
He hoped that both sides would continue to preserve and promote their solidarity and traditional friendship, elevating bilateral relations to new heights across all fields.
The Vietnamese defense leader emphasized that military academies and schools of the two countries should strengthen education on the longstanding friendship and good neighborliness between Vietnam and China.

He stressed that bilateral defense cooperation remains one of the key pillars of the bilateral relationship and has received strong attention from both sides, yielding substantive results in delegation exchanges, consultations and dialogues, cooperation between agencies, units, services, arms, and military academies, border management coordination, United Nations peacekeeping operations, human resource training, and defense industry.
He spoke highly of visits and fact-finding trips held for officers and cadets of military academies and schools of both countries, saying that they provide valuable opportunities to share experiences while enhancing friendship, mutual understanding, and trust. He affirmed that the leadership of the Central Military Commission and the MND of Vietnam consistently supports and encourages this important area of cooperation.

For his part, Major General Liu Kai noted that his visit reflects the close friendship and cooperative relationship between the two countries and their militaries.
He highly appreciated the positive outcomes of bilateral relations and bilateral defense cooperation. Looking ahead, he stressed that both sides should continue to preserve, build upon, and further develop cooperation between the two defense ministries across multiple areas, including delegation exchanges and experience sharing at all levels, thereby contributing to the continued deepening of relations between Vietnam and China and between the two defense ministries.
