After the candle-lighting ceremony, Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Quang Minh and delegates attended the art program, during which the GDP’s deputy chief emphasized that although time has passed, the sacrifices of the heroic martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers, wounded and sick soldiers will forever be remembered in the nation's history. Their dedication secured Vietnam's independence and freedom and brought peace and prosperity to the country. Every part of the nation, he said, bears the sacrifice of generations who fought to defend and build Vietnam.

He described Vi Xuyen National War Cemetery as the final resting place of thousands of soldiers who laid down their lives to safeguard the country's territorial integrity, symbolizing patriotism, resilience, and the aspiration for a united nation.
He called on today's generation to honor the past, live responsibly, uphold patriotism, strengthen self-reliance, promote innovation, and dedicate themselves to study, work, and national development in a manner worthy of previous generations' sacrifices.

General Minh also urged military youth and young people nationwide to continue leading the 500-Day Campaign to accelerate the search, recovery, and identification of martyrs' remains, describing it as both a sacred political mission and a heartfelt responsibility toward the nation's fallen heroes.
He noted that military youth and young people across the country have carried out numerous meaningful activities to support policy families and people with meritorious service, helping promote Vietnam's tradition of gratitude while easing the lasting impact of war.

With the message "A Candle - A Heartfelt Tribute" and the theme "Continuing the Legend – Aspiration for the Nation," he said the program honored the nation's tradition of defending the Fatherland while expressing profound gratitude to those who sacrificed themselves for national independence. It also aimed to inspire younger generations to cherish national traditions, live with compassion, and contribute to the country's future.
Representing Tuyen Quang province, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Hoang Gia Long thanked the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the GDP, and benefactors for organizing activities honoring policy families, wounded and sick soldiers, families of fallen soldiers, and disadvantaged households in the province. He expressed hope for continued support to improve the lives of people with meritorious service.
