Reporting on task performance since the beginning of this year, the school’s rector Major General Nguyen Trung Hieu stated that the school's Party Committee and Board of Administrators have strictly implemented higher level directives and resolutions on military, defense, and education tasks.

The school has maintained strict combat readiness duties, command and guard routines, patrols, and security measures, while strengthening inspections and discipline management to ensure absolute safety.
Training and education programs have been carried out as planned. The school has focused on improving training quality and lecturer development. Currently, 77.27% of instructors hold postgraduate degrees. It has six associate professors and 99 doctorate degree holders. Teaching, testing, and evaluation methods have been reformed to improve fairness and effectiveness, resulting in better cadet performance.
Production activities have been closely managed and treated as part of cadet training and evaluation.

Regarding finance and medium-term public investment for the 2026-2030 period, the school has carried out projects on schedule with guaranteed quality and safety. Procurement and financial activities have complied with legal regulations.
After field inspection and hearing reports, Gen. Ngoc highly praised the school for its attainments.
Regarding upcoming tasks, the defense leader asked the school to continue improving education and training quality, enhance lecturer and cadet standards, and strictly follow the principle that “the training quality of schools reflects the combat readiness of units.” He also asked for ensuring sufficient training materials, strengthening inspections, and aligning training closely with operational realities.
In logistics, finance, and infrastructure development, the deputy defense minister requested greater attention to troop welfare, healthcare, disease prevention and sunstroke and heat stroke prevention.

He also urged the school to maintain project quality and progress, develop green, clean and beautiful barracks, strengthen discipline, and build the school into a comprehensively strong and exemplary institution.
The academy was also instructed to organize activities commemorating the 80th anniversary of the day when President Ho Chi Minh presented the flag bearing the motto: “Loyal to the nation, devoted to the people” to the school (May 26, 1946 - 2026).
