Army Officer Candidate School No.1 conducts live-fire exercise
PANO – On March 21, the Army Officer Candidate School No.1 conducted a live-fire tactical exercise featuring an infantry platoon attacking enemy troops in airborne operation, as part of a comprehensive tactical drill for third-year cadets.
The drill was organized and executed in a strict, methodical manner, following the full operational staff process. Through the exercise, cadets were able to apply their acquired knowledge in military, political, and logistics-technical fields in line with enemy situations, terrain, and specific tactical intentions.
The exercise also helped improve command and organizational capabilities of platoon leaders, while enhancing coordinated combat skills at platoon level in conditions close to real combat, suitable for modern warfare requirements.
