The station has also closely coordinated with relevant forces to exchange information and assess developments, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in its managed area.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Pham Nam Son, Political Commissar of Dat Mui Border Station, the unit has consistently focused on thoroughly implementing the leadership and direction of higher-level authorities regarding military, defense and border missions in the new situation. It has comprehensively implemented and closely combined various measures to manage and protect the border, pro-actively monitored, assessed and forecast developments accurately, and promptly advised higher level on issues concerning maritime sovereignty.

Since the beginning of the year, maritime sovereignty, political security, and social order and safety in the unit’s managed have remained basically stable. No signs have been detected of foreign vessels violating Viet Nam’s maritime sovereignty, nor of local fishing vessels entering the maritime waters of other countries in the region to conduct fishing activities.
