Comprehensive evaluation of Women’s Union cadres’ capacity and qualifications
The contest was seen as a comprehensive review of Women’s Union cadres’ knowledge, situation-handling skills, and ability to organize movements.
In the knowledge category, the organizers for the first time applied the multiple choice test and essay writing. This required contestants’ good knowledge of higher levels’ documents, directives, resolutions, instructions on women’s work and women’s movements, their general thinking and summarizing ability.
In the essay writing part, contestants well analyzed and made clear the connotations of the criteria “Wisdom, Bravery, Discipline, Compassion” on servicewomen building in the new period and the emulation movement entitled “Knowledgeable, brave military women complete duties, build happy families, and deserve to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new period.”

Attentively, they presented practical applications in their units, shared experiences, creative models, pointed out shortcomings, and made proposals with high feasibility. Essay writings of cadres from Military Region 3, Central Military Hospital 108, and Military Academy of Logistics were highly praised.
Spreading meaningful messages
In the talent category, contestants showed off their singing, painting, staging, story-telling skills, among others. Their skillfully-staged performances left deep impressions on both the jury and audiences. Some performances deeply touched the hearts of audiences, bringing actual feelings to them.

Notably, dissemination scripts held combat spirit, had good layouts, followed Women’s Union organizations’ political tasks and activities. These highlighted the traditions of the Vietnamese women, military women, servicewomen’s following and studying President Ho Chi Minh’s example, promotion of Uncle Ho’s soldiers’ tradition, role models in combat, study, and at work, emulation movements, good models and good deeds.
The contest ended with all targets achieved. It helped raise awareness and responsibility of Women’s Union cadres and members of preserving and promoting virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new period and build intelligent, brave, disciplinary, and compassionate servicewomen, contributing to build strong Women’s Union organizations, and comprehensively, exemplary and typical units.
