At the event, Senior Colonel Phan Ai Xuan, Acting Head of the Military Women Advisory Board and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Award Council, reported on the implementation of the nomination process, including the identification, appraisal, and selection of outstanding organizations and individuals by agencies and units under the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense.

Following a review of the nominations, council members commended the Military Women Advisory Board for its responsible, objective, and thorough coordination with relevant agencies and units throughout the selection process. After carefully examining the nomination dossiers, the council unanimously endorsed the proposed candidates.

The nominees represent a broad range of fields, including training and combat support, combat readiness, education, scientific research, production, journalism, public communication, culture, and sports.
The council also agreed to nominate one organization and one individual for the Vietnamese Women's Award 2026. The proposed organization is the Women's Association of Factory Z176 under the General Department of Defense Industry, while the nominated individual is Lieutenant General Nguyen Hoang Ngoc, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Central Military Hospital 108.
Concluding the meeting, Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Quang Minh thanked the council members for their responsible, objective, and impartial work, as well as their constructive contributions throughout the review process.
He directed the Military Women Advisory Board, as the council's standing body, to coordinate closely with relevant agencies under the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Political Affairs to complete all procedures and preparations for the award ceremony. He also instructed the board to finalize nomination documents and related policies, while assisting selected recipients in preparing presentations for the ceremony.
GDP’s Deputy Chief further called on functional agencies of the GDP to actively support the Military Women Advisory Board in ensuring the successful organization of the first Military Women's Award ceremony in 2026.
