During the event, the organizing panel handed over 30 gift packages, including cash and school supplies, to needy students who have been doing their best to achieve good academic results. The gifts aimed to help them be well-prepared for the upcoming new school year.

The “Paving the way to school for children” program of the Women’s Association of the Staff of the provincial military command was held for the first time in 2022. Apart from the gifts, the unit also donated more than 20 health insurance cards to needy children.

Second-in-Command and Chief of Staff of the Dak Nong provincial Military Command Colonel Dao Duy Tuan evaluated that the “Paving the way to school for children” program is a great source of encouragement for needy students to continue their education.

On the occasion, women of the Staff of the provincial military command kicked off the “Foster mother” program, during which they adopted two year-2 students of To Hieu Primary School and presented two bicycles, worth VND 5 million each, to them. The women’s association pledged to provide the VND 500 monthly allowance for the students until they are 18.
