Conference votes for ten outstanding military faces in 2022
PANO - Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau chaired a conference on February 21 in Hanoi to cast votes for ten outstanding faces in the military in 2022.

The conference revealed that relevant agencies and units have thoroughly grasped and strictly actualized the regulations on voting for outstanding young faces of the military. The selection, voting, and honoring activities have been well implemented, creating motivation for the “Determined-to-Win” movement and youth activities and contributing to the successful implementation of the political tasks of agencies and units in the military.
In particular, agencies and units in the whole military have submitted profiles of 53 outstanding individuals who obtained significant achievements in training and combat readiness; studying, teaching, and scientific research; production; culture and art; and sports.
At the conference, delegates seriously assessed and discussed to clarify criteria and achievements of the 53 young faces and cast their votes for 10 outstanding young faces and 43 promising young faces of the whole military in 2022.
Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau praised the Military Youth Advisory Board and members of the voting council for their good preparation and constructive ideas. The deputy chief of the General Department of Political Affairs asked the Military Youth Advisory Board to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to well prepare for the ceremony to honor outstanding and promising young faces in the whole military in 2022; foster information dissemination before, during and after the commendation.
Ten outstanding faces in the military in 2022 are Captain Le Hao from the Political Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Command; Captain Vu Trung Kien from Brigade 162 of Naval Region 4 Command of the Naval Service; contract employee Nguyen Nhu Thanh from Viettel High Technology Industries Corporation of Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel); Senior Captain Pham Thanh Tuyen from President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command; First Lieutenant Nguyen Thị Khanh Linh from Department 11 under the General Department of Defense Intelligence; defense worker Doan Van Giap from One member Limited Liability Company 18 of Army Corps 15; Captain Nguyen Viet Anh Tuan from Battalion 2 of Military Region 9’s Military School; Senior Captain Dao Hoang Vuong from Brigade 2 of Command 86; Major Nguyen Dinh Thuy from Division 301 of the Hanoi Capital Command; Non-commissioned First Lieutenant Nguyen Linh Na from the Department of Military Training of the General Staff.
