Combat readiness at Vinh Phuc provincial Military Command inspected
PANO - Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Phuong Nam, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, leading a delegation of the Ministry of National Defense, inspected the maintenance of combat readiness at the Military Command of Vinh Phuc province on August 21.
During the inspection, Senior Colonel Nguyen The Hai, Chief of the provincial Military Command, reported on the command’s military-defense task performance and combat readiness posture since the beginning of this year.
Over the past time, the command has directed its affiliated agencies and units to closely work with other relevant forces to thoroughly grasp situational developments and give recommendations to local Party committees and authorities on military-defense work in a timely and accurate manner to avoid being put in disadvantaged circumstances.

Under the command’s leadership, subordinate agencies and units have strictly observed combat readiness and combat regulations, well prepared facilities and training plans, organized training and exercises as planned, comprehensively conducted natural disaster response and search and rescue plans. Moreover, they have closely coordinated with the police force and other units stationed in the province to assist local people in natural disaster prevention and consequence relief.
Additionally, the command has directed exercises at the district and city levels with absolute safety and high quality and built the militia and self-defense forces while maintaining regularity and regulation and military discipline observance.
The command has built plans to protect major events of the nation while ensuring political security and social order and safety in the province.
General Nam then asked inspection groups of the delegation to check the command’s performance of staff, Party and political work, as well as leadership over the logistic and technical services, force building, and combat readiness.
