Division 330 requested to strengthen combat readiness capabilities
PANO – A mission of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Ngo Minh Tien, inspected Division 330 of Military Region 9 and several other military units in An Giang province, on August 13.
During his trip to Division 330, General Tien checked the division’s combat readiness capabilities, quality of training, discipline observance and regular force building.
After learning about all aspects of the division, General Tien had a meeting with key officers of the division. He said that affiliated units of the division implemented resolutions and directions from higher-level authorities, particularly Resolution 765 of the Central Military Commission on improving the quality of training in the period of 2013-30 and the following years while leaders of the units effectively conducted regulations of democracy at the grassroots level and troops had a high sense of observance of the laws and military discipline.

General Tien also requested the Command of Division 330 and leaders of its affiliates to continuously raise their units’ combat readiness capabilities, step up the building of a regular military order and a comprehensively strong unit, enhance their troops’ political stance and combat will, improve qualifications for their subordinate officers, and tighten military discipline.
In the afternoon, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff checked the Vinh Nguon Border Guard Post under the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command, and Chac Ri Militia Watch Point under the An Giang Provincial Military Command.
