According to Senior Colonel Nguyen Manh Cuong, Second-in-Command and Chief of Staff of Division 325, before the live-fire content, Division 325 closely coordinated with units from the Air Defense – Air Force Service, Artillery Corps, and Army Corps 12 to successfully complete all stages of the exercise, namely shifting combat readiness posture, marching to the rendezvous site, making preparations for the combat, conducting combat operation.

Concluding the exercise, the steering committee evaluated that the participating forces promoted their roles and responsibilities in task performance. The leadership methods were flexible, creative, and decisive while troops showed their skills in reading maps, drafting documents, and making plans in accordance with regulations and close to reality.

During the live-fire stage titled “Infantry Division with additional technical equipment attacks airborne enemy,” the participating forces thoroughly grasped the contents, combat intentions, and tactical principles, and closely coordinated with each other to deal with the situations while ensuring absolute safety for both personnel, weapons and equipment. Attentively, in a short time, the troops annihilate all targets, with many targets being destroyed in the first salvoes.

In his remarks, Major General Truong Manh Dung underlined that the exercise contributed to raising staff work capabilities of its agencies at all levels, enhancing the tactical and technical skills of participating troops and their proficiency in using various types of weapons, vehicles and equipment during combat practice and live-fire exercises.
The exercise also served as a foundation for the corps to evaluate the quality of the leadership and direction of party committees and chains-of-command at all levels for training and combat readiness activities; promptly deal with shortcomings and limitations to improve the quality and efficiency of the work in the time to come.

Gen. Dung also expressed his delight at the result of the exercise and spoke highly of the capabilities of chains-of-command at all levels and the effective collaboration among the participating forces.
He affirmed that the result of the exercise also contributed to building an elite, compact, strong, gradually modernized corps, meeting the task requirement of military building, defense consolidation, and national protection in the new situation.
