PANO - Newly-founded Army Corps 12 recently held a live-fire exercise, using a number of new weapons and equipment that Vietnam have researched and manufactured.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh observed the drill.

The exercise saw the participation of the air, air defense, artillery, armored, engineering, chemical, signal, electronic warfare and commando forces.

Army Corps 12 is the first army corps of the military to be developed in the elite, compact, strong and modernized direction.
