Both sides exchange the MoU on cooperation for 2026 after the signing ceremony.

The Military Region 1 Command and Ratanakiri provincial Military Sub-region actively supported the Search and Collection Team K52 in carrying out the search, collection and repatriation of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors who sacrificed their lives in Cambodia.

The two sides also regularly organized exchanges, dissemination activities, and assistance programs for people in border areas, further strengthening solidarity and friendship between the armed forces and peoples of both countries.

At the conference, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation for 2026, agreeing to further enhance coordination in maintaining political security, social order and safety along the shared border. They were also committed to creating favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community living and working in Ratanakiri province, promoting exchange activities and the construction of friendship projects, and strengthening cooperation in the search, recovery, and repatriation of the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors who laid down their lives in Cambodia.
