Vietnam and Myanmar to promote friendship and cooperation during port call
PANO – The carrier ship dock UMS Moattama of the Myanmar Navy with over 100 crew-members on board docked at the Cam Ranh International Port in Khanh Hoa province on November 12.
The reception for the Myanmar guests, led by Naval Captain Thei Htoo, was hosted by Naval Captain Nguyen Thai Hoc, Deputy Chief of the Staff of the Naval Region 4 Command under the Vietnam People’s Navy.

According to the schedule, the crew-members of the Myanmar naval ship will pay courtesy calls on the leadership of the provincial People’s Committee and Naval Region 4 Command. They will also participate in sports events with troops from the Naval Region 4 Command.
Naval troops of the two sides will visit vessels of each side and hold banquets under the international naval routines.
The visit of the Myanmar naval ship aims to promote friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Myanmar in general and the militaries and navies in particular.
