As one of the Indian Army’s key military technical training institutions, CME is responsible for providing professional training, developing command skills and strengthening practical capabilities in military engineering.
During talks with CME leaders, Sr. Capt. Le Hao said the visit provided the Vietnamese young officers with a comprehensive insight into the capabilities of the Indian Army’s engineering corps, particularly its application of advanced and smart technologies and its training of highly qualified personnel.

For its part, CME warmly welcomed the Vietnamese delegation and shared its experience in a spirit of friendship. CME’s young officers also expressed their admiration for and special sentiment toward Viet Nam, its military and its people.
The activities at CME successfully concluded the 2026 Viet Nam–India Young Officers Exchange Program. The program left a strong impression and fostered special bonds between Indian Army units and the VPA young officer delegation.

Together with broadening their knowledge, the Vietnamese young officers have reaffirmed the role of the younger generation of military officers in carrying forward and further strengthening the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Viet Nam and India.
