Philippine warship docks at Cam Ranh int’l port

The Filipino officers and sailors were welcomed by representatives from Naval Region 4 Command, Khanh Hoa provincial Department of External Affairs, the Office of the Ministry of National Defense and the Department of Foreign Relations under the Ministry of National Defense, Khanh Hoa provincial Military Command, the Vietnam Naval Academy and Tan Cang-Petro Cam Ranh Company.

During their visit, the Filipino officers and sailors will pay courtesy calls to the Commander of Naval Region 4 and leaders of the provincial People’s Committee. They will also exchange with and participate in a joint exercise in patrolling in detachment form, search and rescue and enforcement of the Code for Unplanned Encounters at Sea with Vietnamese peers.
