RoK naval ships dock at Tien Sa port

The ships, carrying 633 officers and sailors, are led by Rear Admiral Yang Minsoo.

Welcoming the ships were leaders and representatives of the Command of Naval Region 3, the Department of Foreign Relations under the Ministry of National Defense, the Military Command and Border Guard Command of Da Nang city, the RoK Ambassador to Vietnam, the RoK Defense Attaché to Vietnam, and the RoK community in Da Nang city.

During their stay, the RoK guests will pay a courtesy call on leaders of the municipal People’s Committee and Naval Region 3 Command, and explore some destinations in Da Nang city.

The visit is taking place at a time when the relations between the two nations as well as their defense ties have been continuously consolidated. This is one of the specific activities to implement the agreed contents between the two countries’ senior leaders over the past time in order to bring bilateral defense cooperation to a higher level of development with substantial and effective outcomes.
