In his closing speech, Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the HCYU Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Youth Federation affirmed that this year’s meeting held significant importance, as it concretized the outcomes and joint statements of the two sides’ senior leaders, contributing to educating the young generation of the two countries about the new developments in the Vietnam - China relationship, so that they understand the responsibility of inheriting and continuously developing the “close friendship between Vietnam and China, both comrades and brothers,” the precious common asset of the two Parties, two countries and two peoples established by President Ho Chi Minh, Chairman Mao Zedong, and the leaders of the two countries.

During the meeting, youths of the two sides exchanged stories about the friendship between the two Parties, Governments, and peoples, sharing insights into youth work and activities in both countries. They also discussed specific ideas for organizing warm and close exchanges between the two countries’ youths, while also promoting the shared revolutionary heritage to educate the younger generation about the mutual support during the revolutionary periods between Vietnam and China, ensuring the continuation of the Vietnam-China friendship across generations.
After the closing ceremony, delegates enjoyed an artistic program by youths of both countries. Through songs and performances, they expressed their national pride, deep love for their homelands, and showcased the beauty of each side’s culture, people, and nature.
