On the previous day, the trawler with 10 crewmembers on board, captained by Bui Trung Hien from Nghe An province, went adrift due to engine failure while fishing at sea about 60 nautical miles from Hon Ngu islet off Nghe An.

The distressed trawler (R) was towed to shore safely

Having failed to fix the problem, they signaled a mayday for help because the fishing ship was about to sink in bad weather conditions.

After receiving the alert, the center immediately sent its ship SAR 411 to the scene, approached the troubled trawler, and safely towed it, with all fishermen aboard, ashore.
