The program was to commemorate the 78th anniversary of the Fallen and Wounded Soldiers (July 27, 1947 - 2025), and promote the good tradition of the nation of “When drinking water, remember its source.”

At the event, nearly 30 doctors and nurses of the hospital checked health of nearly 200 residents who are policy beneficiaries and those who rendered good services for the nation. Many received advice to take better care of their health and treatment.

According to Senior Colonel Dao Quang Minh, a cadre at the hospital, such a program was among good traditions of the hospital and has been organized for years. Alongside modern medical equipment, the medical staff also brought there their deep gratitude to those who had made contributions to the Fatherland protection cause. Through each program, participating staff were deeper aware of the significance of the medical ethics and responsibilities of soldier-doctors.

Speaking highly of the practical meaning of the program, Vice Chairwoman of Phu Xuyen Commune People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Bich Phuong expressed thanks to the hospital’s staff for their care for local policy beneficiaries’ health.

Also in the program, the organizers presented gifts to nine wounded and sick soldiers, policy beneficiary families and national contributors.

As scheduled, in this year’s July 27 event, the hospital will provide health check-ups for nearly 1,300 wounded and sick soldiers, martyrs’ families, and national contributors in six localities in Hanoi, visit convalescent centers, give financial support to build houses to the needy in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Nghe An with a total value of VND 1 billion. The hospital will also send delegations to visit war cemeteries in Hanoi capital city, Tuyen Quang, Quang Tri and Thai Nguyen provinces.
