PANO - Recruits of Regiment 892 under the An Giang Provincial Military Command completed the final test of Grenade Throwing Lesson 1 on May 28.

This is one of the three components in the mandatory “three explosions” test for new recruits, which includes AK rifle shooting, grenade throwing, and explosive placement.

In 2025, Regiment 892 was assigned to receive and train new enlistees from various localities in An Giang Province. Defining this as a key task in the unit’s training program for the first half of the year, the regiment and its subordinate units made thorough preparations for the reception and training of the new recruits.

As a result, all components met or exceeded the required standards, with many recruits achieving good or excellent results. For the “three explosions” test, the regiment ensured absolute safety for both personnel and equipment. This has laid an important foundation for new recruits to master basic training content, adapt to the military environment and discipline, and develop the qualities, demeanor, and bravery of a soldier in the Vietnam People’s Army.
