At the meeting, voters watched a video clip highlighting the outcomes of the first session of the 16th National Assembly and the activities of the National Assembly deputies' delegation of Dong Thap province during the session.

Voters expressed their delight and support for the major guidelines and policies of the Party and State. They also frankly raised a number of questions relating to health insurance, motorbike insurance, the Land Law, food safety, the sale of counterfeit and low-quality fertilizers, and the consumption of agricultural products, especially the recurring situation of “bumper crops but falling prices,” which has greatly affected local people's livelihoods.

Receiving voters’ opinions at the meeting, local leaders provided detailed responses to issues within their authority. The National Assembly deputies' delegation of Dong Thap province requested local authorities and relevant departments to promptly and thoroughly address the issues raised by voters. Matters falling under the authority of National Assembly deputies will be compiled and submitted to the Standing Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province, the provincial National Assembly deputies' delegation, and competent agencies.
