Concluding the conference, General Nguyen Trong Nghia spoke highly of the proactiveness and responsibility of agencies and units in their task performance over the past time.

He underscored the need to further enhance the quality of strategic advisory work and ensure the comprehensive and synchronized execution of Party and political work amid increasingly complex global and regional developments that directly impact the military’s tasks.

The GDP chief also stressed the importance of accelerating the completion of major projects with quality requirements and long-term vision toward 2030 and 2045, avoiding delays and  lack of initiative. He also highlighted that the ideological management should be strengthened in depth. Priority should be given to building a healthy cultural environment and preserving the qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new context. He called for greater proactiveness in responding to challenges in cyberspace, enhancing spirit and responsibility in dissemination work, among others.

Regarding Party building work, Gen. Nghia required continued review and improvement of the system of regulations and rules, closely linking Party and political work with all assigned tasks. On personnel work, he emphasized the need for a strong overhaul of evaluation methods in a more specific and quantitative direction, closely tied to outputs and work performance, while strictly implementing periodic personnel assessments.
