The closing ceremony of the camp was held on June 16 by the Vietnam Military History Museum and the Composition Supporting Center under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
After a 15-day fact-finding and composing trip, 15 painters did their paintings which vividly reflect the national salvation cause, fatherland building and protection, armed forces’ training, combat readiness, mass mobilization work and Uncle Ho’s soldiers’ beauty.
The typical paintings included “Ho Chi Minh Trail” by Nguyen The Huu (Hanoi), “Souvenirs of Hill A1-Dien Bien Phu” by Phan Oanh (Ho Chi Minh City), “Truong Sa” and “In the submarine” by Ho Minh Quan (Ho Chi Minh City), “Beloved border” by Vi Quoc Hiep (Lam Dong) and “Way to training ground” by Nguyen Anh Duong (Thua Thien-Hue).
Outstanding paintings will take part in the coming National Fine Art Exhibition on Armed Forces and Revolutionary War and compete in the Ministry of National Defense’s Awards of Arts and Literature and Press for the 2016-2020 period.
