Officers and soldiers of the team have painstakingly combed through every corner of caves, turning over tree roots and stones to ensure that no trace or artifact of the martyrs is left behind, with the aim of bringing them home to rest alongside their comrades.

As of mid-April 2026, the team had successfully located and recovered 64 sets of martyrs’ remains, including 18 found in the first half of April 2026 alone.
