800 sets of martyr remains recovered at Le Thi Rieng Park

During the second phase of the search, from October 15 to 21, functional forces recovered 69 individual sets of martyr remains, including 17 found with artifacts. From June 23 to October 21, a total of 800 sets of martyr remains, 324 of them accompanied by artifacts, were recovered at Le Thi Rieng Park.

According to the Search and Collection Team, the forces continued expanding the search area in Zone B of the park on October 21, excavating more than 620 cubic meters of soil. To ensure the progress of the operation, the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command mobilized three excavators, one dump truck and two 3.5-ton trucks to support excavation and soil transportation.

The search and recovery operation is being carried out with a strong sense of responsibility, reflecting profound gratitude to soldiers who fought and sacrificed their lives for national liberation, construction and defense.
