Accordingly, H’Yim Kdoh affirmed that over the past time, both sides have achieved significant results in the search and collection of the remains of Vietnamese martyrs in Mondulkiri province during the 2023–2024 dry season, especially in overcoming difficulties to regularly exchange information to promptly address arising issues.
Reportedly, actualizing the foreign policy guidelines and upholding the long-standing traditional friendship cultivated throughout history and during task implementation, both sides focused on directing, supporting, and creating the best possible conditions for Team K51 of the Dak Lak provincial Military Command to complete their tasks. Thanks to the assistance, they have collected 27 sets of martyrs’ remains.
During the 2024-2025 dry season, both sides agreed to continue strengthening coordination, actively implementing the set objectives, and pro-actively supporting Team K51 to perform its tasks in Mondulkiri province. They will also boost information dissemination among local authorities, people, and armed forces in the areas where Team K51 is working, while fostering friendship and following international relations regulations, particularly strictly observing the laws of the Cambodian government and respecting the customs and traditions of local people.
Both sides discussed and agreed on the contents of the memorandum of understanding regarding the schedule and the base location of Team K51; the search areas; policies for those who provide accurate information about burial location of martyrs’ remains; as well as ensuring personnel and vehicles throughout the mission.
