Lai Chau border guards hold Mid-autumn Festival for children

Leaders of the Lai Chau provincial Border Guard Command presents gifts to needy children at the program.

During the event, local children joinfully took part in various activities such as artistic performances and folk games, and enjoyed fruits and cakes.

In his speech, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Hung, Political Commissar of the command, underlined that the program was held to help children in needy and remote localities across the country have a happy and cozy Mid-autumn festival, thus encouraging them to overcome all difficulties.

Children receive gifts from the organizers.

On this occasion, the organizing panel handed over gifts to dozens of local impoverished students with good academic records.

Earlier, delegates offered incense to heroic martyrs at a memorial stele dedicated to fallen soldiers at Si Lo Lau Border Post under the Lai Chau provincial Border Guard Command.
