Trouble fisherman saved at sea
PANO – On July 6, Ship SAR 412 of the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC) successfully saved an ill fisherman and took him ashore for further treatment.
Earlier, Nguyen Nhat from Nai Hien Dong ward, Son Tra district, Da Nang city, captain of boat DNa 90415 TS, sent a mayday signal, as crew-member Nguyen Van Ben (born in 1965, from Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province) was experiencing a pain in his right iliac fossa and urinary retention while fishing about 48 nautical miles off Da Nang coast.

The MRCC immediately sent ship SAR 412 to the scene for a rescue mission.
After approaching the boat, the rescue ship, in coordination with a medical team from the Emergency Center of Da Nang city, gave him first aid.
The patient was then brought ashore for further treatment.
