On the morning of September 8, Division 325 of Army Corps 12 deployed over 300 officers and soldiers to assist the people of Bac Giang province’s Luc Ngan district in overcoming the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi.

According to initial reports, the third storm caused significant damages in Luc Ngan, including nine broken power poles, 117 damaged structures, many fallen shade and fruit trees, and the collapse of a warehouse.
In various localities of Luc Ngan, officers and soldiers of Division 325 have helped evacuate people and their belongings from flooded areas to safer locations. All of the soldiers of the unit have demonstrated their highest sense of responsibility to assist families to minimize losses.
In Hai Phong city, one of the localities severely stricken by the storm, naval troops in the city have promptly worked to help locals overcome the consequences.

Division 3 of Military Region 1 has mobilized more than 100 troops to collaborate with the Military Command of Dong Mo townlet of Lang Son province’s Chi Lang district and the locality’s police, militiamen, and relevant agencies to respond to emergency circumstances.
The forces have focused on encouraging residents to evacuate to safer places, helping them move their belongings, and addressing the aftermath of the storm.
Dong Mo townlet covers an area of 35.64 square kilometers with a population of nearly 14,500 people. Although the storm did not directly hit Lang Son province, its effects caused strong winds and heavy rains on September 7, leading to flooding in many areas and damaging many houses.

Earlier, on the evening of September 7, Division 3 mobilized nearly 30 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local forces and militiamen to handle fallen trees and collapsed fences at Huu Lung district War Cemetery and along National Road 1A in Dong Tan commune.
