At around 2 a.m., upon receiving the “order to rescue the people,” hundreds of officers and soldiers from the Bac Ninh Provincial Military Command, Engineering Brigade 575, and Regiment 2 of Division 3 under Military Region 1 were urgently mobilized, along with motorboats, to reach the flooded areas.

For nearly 20 consecutive hours, they waded through deep waters, braving dangerous conditions and navigating obstacles to reach every household, giving top priority to evacuating the elderly and children to safety. Troops’ wholehearted deed made people feel assured in difficult time.

The image of troops standing shoulder to shoulder with people in the midst of storms and floods once again affirmed the enduring bond between the military and the people.

Below are photos of troops running against time to help people in flood-hit areas in Bac Ninh Province.
